The Man Behind It​

I grew up outside, always curious how the world worked. I loved creating and building things from scratch. I focused on tiny details and deeply desired what I built to be perfect — never failing, thoroughly thought through, and robust.

Working with others often proved to be a challenge. Cutting corners, settling for less, or lacking pride in one’s own work never sat well with me. I knew if I ever wanted to truly take pride in what I produced, I couldn’t compromise on the standard.

That conviction grew into a desire to lead — to build something of my own. A business where ideas could be brought to life without shortcuts. Where the final product would be something worth standing behind.

The dream for BlinnTech sat dormant for nearly a decade.Through fabrication work at my family business, working as a machine operator at a box production plant, earning my mechanical engineering degree at Dunwoody, returning to my family business for R&D engineering work, and many small projects along the way — BlinnTech sat quietly in the back of my mind.

How It Started​

In the beginning, God. In my weakness and doubt, He began making a way before I even realized it. I bought a new Bible with the simple intention of creating a highlighting system to help me go deeper into Scripture. BlinnTech was still an afterthought. As the highlighting system grew, others showed interest. That’s when it clicked. This would be BlinnTech’s first product. It was low risk. It was practical. And it built the company on something centered on God from the start. The mountain in front of me suddenly looked less like a mountain and more like a hill. Start small. Go after it. Never look back.

 

BlinnTech is not being built on my own strength, but by the strength God empowers me with — the doors He opens and closes.

What Makes BlinnTech Different​

Product development is expensive. That reality stops many good ideas before they ever begin. BlinnTech offers an incentive to individuals who want to create. We absorb a portion of development costs to help bring ideas to life. We also provide a retail platform where developed products can be sold, giving creators the opportunity to recoup their original investment.

At the same time, we are continually investing in new equipment to lower development costs and expand our in-house manufacturing capabilities.​

The Meaning Behind Our Logo​

The BlinnTech logo is a complete expression of who we are. Designed for versatility, it reflects the wide range of engineering challenges we solve — a true “Swiss Army knife” approach to innovation.

​

Subtly woven into the design are four core elements: the B, the cross, the gear, and the Christian fish. Together, they represent mechanical precision, intentional design, and a foundation rooted in faith.
